Biography

Steve Prince is a New Orleans native, currently living in Williamsburg, VA. Prince is a mixed-media artist, master printmaker, lecturer, and educator. He received his BFA from Xavier University of Louisiana and his MFA in Printmaking and Sculpture from Michigan State University. His faith guides his artistic practice, and his work explores faith in relation to his life, his culture, and his community. Prince is currently the Director of Engagement and Distinguished Artist in Residence at the Muscarelle Museum at William and Mary.
