Stephen Hayes

Biography

Stephen Hayes was born in 1983 and grew up in Durham, North Carolina. He studied at North Carolina Central University for his undergraduate degree and earned his MFA at Savannah College of Art & Design. He has participated in residencies at Alfred University, the 701 Center for Contemporary Art of Columbia, South Carolina, and the McColl Center of Art and Innovation in Charlotte. His exhibition Cash Crop has been shown all over the country. Hayes is also an educator and has taught at Georgia State University.
