Biography

Charles Williams was born in Georgetown, South Carolina in 1984. He graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2006 and earned a Masters of Fine Arts degree at the University of North Carolina in 2017.

He has participated in artist residencies at Otis College of Art and Design, Gibbes Museum of Art,  SOMA (Mexico City), McColl Center of Art and Innovation, and the Hudson River Landscape Fellowship. His work can be found in the Knoxville Museum of Art, North Carolina Museum of Art, Gibbes Museum of Art, and the Myrtle Beach Museum.
