Biography

Born in Philadelphia in 1949, Allan Logan Edmunds earned his both graduate and undergraduate degrees from Tyler School of Art. He also studied in Rome and the Cardiff Art School in Wales. Edmunds founded The Brandywine Print Workshop in 1972. His work is in the Private Collection of Lewis Tanner Moore and has been exhibited at the Woodmere and the African American Museum in Philadelphia. He is a teacher in the Philadelphia School district and has been a Visiting Professor of Art at Swarthmore College since 2009.
